Nice glass bead. Each one handmade of phosphate glass in our lab.
Doping glasses with Rhodium is a very complicated task and several attempts failed due to the extremely low solublity of Rh in any glass matrix. Finally I was able to successfully produce some Rh3+ containing glass samples containing several mol% of Rh3+.
