Glass bead doped with Palladium (Pd3+) Ions

Nice glass bead. Each one handmade of phosphate glass in our lab.
Doping glasses with Palladium is a very complicated task and several attempts failed due to the extremely low solublity of Pd in any glass matrix. Finally I was able to successfully produce some Pd3+ containing glass samples. The max. concentration of Pd3+ is about 0.4 mol%. All attempts with higher amounts failed.
