Black phosphorus (BPs), single- and multi-layered crystals in ethanol. The BPs solution was prepared by sonicating high quality BPs crystals synthesized by CVT. Since the starting material BPs is highly crystalline, highly crystalline BPs are suspended in ethanol solution by sonication to delaminate BPs layers. The lateral sizes of the BPs flakes deposited on different substrates range from ~ 25 nm – ~ 10 μm, while the layer thicknesses range from 1 to 10 s.
