Nice glass bead. Each one handmade of phosphate glass in our lab.
Doping glasses with Ruthenium is a very complicated due to the extremely low solublity of Ru in any glass matrix. Finally I was able to successfully produce some highly Ru3+ doped glass samples. The max. concentration of Ru3+ is about 5 mol%.
