Copper(II)-Doped Phosphate Glass Cylinder – 1% Cu²⁺
Hand-crafted laboratory glass sample made from Calcium aluminum phosphate glass and doped with 1% Copper(II) ions (Cu²⁺). The copper ions produce the characteristic blue-green coloration typical of many Cu²⁺ compounds in glass matrices.
Each piece is individually produced in our laboratory by melting high-purity raw materials and carefully casting the glass to obtain a homogeneous optical material. The copper ions are uniformly incorporated into the phosphate glass network, resulting in a stable and vibrant color.
